TENNIS and THIRD-PARIS COMMUNE
Dear Nicolas,
How are you?
As you know very well that we have been a good friend to each other all the time. I know that our friendship has been improving whenever we have met, written, and talked to each other for both of us is a contemporary human being. However I should state that I have different feelings and thoughts at the moment when writing this letter to you.
As you know very well that I am a CITIZEN OF TURKISH REPUBLIC. This is a reality… But you are a Frenchman.
Do you remember the discussion we had at Ankara Sheraton Hotel? We had discussed for a long time which of us a better tennis player is, hadn’t we? But so far we have neither played tennis together nor watched each other playing tennis. We have only discussed business matters. We will do play next month when you come to Istanbul. Meantime, we had also discussed for a while which one, Ms. Pierce or Ms. Marusmo is a better tennis player and your choice was Ms. Marusmo vs. Ms. Pierce who was my favorite…
I am not sure if you know or not that 1789 French Revolution started at an INDOOR TENNIS COURT? King Louis XVI, Queen Marie Antoinette and Comte d’Artois, the king’s brother, ordered the closure of the Salla des Etats where the National Assembly met. And the weather did not allow an outdoor meeting, so the National Assembly moved their deliberations to a nearby, indoor tennis court, where they proceeded to swear the TENNIS COURT OATH (20 June 1789), under which they agreed not to separate until they had given France a constitution. This date is accepted by historians as the starting date of the French Revolution. As a Humanist, a Tennis-Lover and even a Francophile I think all of these are very nice developments for the improvement of mankind. As you know the National Assembly exercised a communal management system during the French Revolution, for this reason, this management is called Communal Management System and for it is exercised in Paris, it is also called PARIS COMMUNE or FIRST PARIS COMMUNE.
The SLOGANS of the French Revolution were:
LIBERTY,
EQUALITY,
FRATERNITY, and
Or DEATH!
Many interrelated political and socioeconomic factors contributed to the French Revolution. To some extent, the old order succumbed to its own rigidity in the face of a changing world. It fell to the ambitions of rising bourgeoisie, allied with aggrieved peasants, wage-earners, and individuals of all classes who had come under the influence of the ideas of the ENLIGHTENMENT and DIALECTICS. In this period, enlightened authors and social leaders such as Denis Didero, J.J. Rousseau, Tulvan la Mettrie, Babeuf, Maximillian Ropespierre lived and served improving of the Enlightenment and Dialectics.
Causes of the French Revolution include the following:
● Historical determinism
● Upper Class (Feudality) and Lower Class (Bourgeoisie and others) clashing
● An aspiration for liberty and republicanism
● A resentment of royal absolutism
● The rise of Enlightenment ideals and Enlightened People
● Rising bourgeoisie class
● High unemployment and HIGH BREAD PRICES
● A resentment of religious intolerance
● A poor economic situation and an unmanageable national debts, inequitable system of taxation
The SECOND PARIS COMMUNE was the local authority which exercised power in Paris for two months in the spring of 1871…
Dear Nicolas, I would like to ask you the meaning of the THIRD PARIS COMMUNE, what is that? I have already written a long perspective of France Chronology to explain the meaning of the Third Paris Commune…

Every politician, businessman, doctor, engineer, and tennis player in my country will persuade every politician, businessman, doctor, engineer, and tennis player in your country respectively.

Jean Pierre Raffarin by Recep Tayyip Erdogan
French Government by Turkish Government
French Parliament by Turkish Parliament
French Municipals and Local Managements by Our Municipals and Local Managements

Your Political Parties by Our Political Parties
Nicolas Pocard by Yunus Gömleksiz
Everybody knows very well that there is no a STATE WITH SINGLE NATION in any country in the world and we have some natural ethnic groups in our country as you have.

Our area : 780,000 km²

So do we
Both countries have natural resources

You have been doing business and trading with us for centuries
BOYCOTT:
You have a lot of companies in Turkey doing business
It is not practicable to exercise any boycott activity and it is also harmful for the working people of both countries

Cultural,
Sportive,
Touristic
Dear Nicolas, if you like to establish a THIRD PARIS COMMUNE which is PRIMITIVE, REACTIONARY, NOT SUPPORTIVE and RACIST THIRD PARIS COMMUNE , substitute for 1789 FRENCH REVOLUTION; this is impossible to be accepted by us. More important is that your ancestors are going to be disturbed in their graves.
We don’t make you substitute
SLAVERY, INEQUITY and HOSTILITY
for FREEDOM, EQUALITY, and FRATERNITY respectively.
But DEATH is NOTHING for us.
Dear Nicolas,
I have written this letter to you in a democratic kindness and as you understand I have the right to look forward to hearing from you in the same way. I have already compared our nations on the basis of general data. I would like to add something: Our population is 70,000,000. I am obliged to explain this a bit more. Your Enlightenment started in 1700s, but unfortunately ours started after our NATIONAL LIBARETION WAR which took place between 19.May.1919 and 23.October.1923 under the leadership of Mustafa Kemal and is still going on. Our population was about 15,000,000 at that time, and today it is 70,000,000. Our whole population of 70,000,000 are SOLDIERS including women, wife and children. Every woman is Halide Edip who was author and PIONEER (let’s say AVANT-GARDTE with French word) WARRIOR, the Mother Fadime who was an old woman and carried arsenal to the front in her back and the Black Sister (Arabian Sister) who was from an ethnic group of Turkey. Every Army Officer graduated from Military Academy is a Mustafa Kemal in our country.
Self determination right: Every nation has the right to determine its own destiny. I would like to state that two countries, Turkey and France should live together in peace, together side by side, fraternally.
Last word is from J.J. Rousseau:
SOCIAL CONTRACT: Each of us put his person and all his power in common under the supreme direction of the general will, and in our corporate capacity, we received each as an indivisionable part of the whole.
I wish that tomorrow, 12.October.2006, will also be an ordinary day like others.
Regards,
Yunus Gomleksiz
